Create a WordPress website
Start a new installation on an existing, ready WordPress hosting service.
Before you start
Use this workflow for a new site. If you already have a WordPress website elsewhere, follow the import guide instead so its content is preserved. You need a WordPress hosting service that is ready and has room for another website.
Prepare a short site name and decide which domain you intend to use. Keep any existing live website in place until the new installation is tested. Creating an installation does not, by itself, move a domain’s registration or its existing email.
Start the installation
- In Kiro, open Websites and choose New website. This opens your hosting control panel once the service is ready.
- Use Add New and choose Create New WordPress Instance, then continue.
- Choose the service if prompted. Depending on its setup, you may select a theme or use the supplied default.
- Enter the requested website name and domain. Complete any additional fields shown, such as language or WordPress administrator details. Use a unique password if the form asks for one.
- Check the domain and selected service, then submit once. Wait for the installation result before opening another creation request.
Check the result
Return to Kiro Websites and refresh the list. Open the new website, verify the domain, and use WordPress to test administrator access. Visit the public address in a separate browser tab and make sure you are seeing the intended installation.
If you entered a custom domain, follow the DNS instructions supplied for that service. Use only the record values shown for your account or confirmed by Kiro. A completed installation can still need domain and HTTPS setup before it is ready for visitors.
If creation is not confirmed
An interrupted page or timeout does not prove that no website was created. Check the existing website list and service status first. If the result is still unclear, send support the domain, approximate time, and visible error. Leave the original request for review instead of making another installation with the same name.
